Kittens are at our ranch in Aguanga while with their mothers (the kittens are born here in our home and hand raised).  When the kittens are very young and with their mothers, I do not allow visitors to handle the kittens.  Also, if you wish to bring children, they must be well behaved and I do not allow young children to handle the kittens.   Once the kittens are weaned and old enough they can be visited.  I am usually available to show the cats on weekdays and weekends as long as I do not have something else planned.  Remember if you are going to be late or need to reschedule, please call and let me know.

Feeding: Our cats and kittens are fed a raw meat diet along with Nature's Variety salmon, which also carries a pre-prepared raw line - Find a store for Nature's Variety: (purchase in advance of getting your kitten because it's important to keep your kitten on the same diet at least at the beginning).  "In the Dish" with Rodney Habib Podcast on Pet Nutrition:

Vaccinations & Worming Schedule: The kittens receive core vaccinations (Feline Parvovirus, Herpesvirus, Calicivirus) prior to going to their new homes.  We provide a detailed health record for each kitten, which shows the vaccinations, worming schedule that the kitten have to date.  We recommend taking your kitten to your vet soon after bringing him/her home with the kitten health record.  Your vet will put your kitten on an appropriate vaccination schedule for your area.  Also, be sure and educate yourself and follow the vaccination schedule that you feel is in the best interest of your pet.  Here are a couple resource links: Dr. Jean Dodds Vaccine ProtocolsDr. Karen Becker and Dr. Ronald Schultz on Pet Vaccines & Dr. Becker - Are Vaccinations Necessary for your Pets?,  Karen Beckers Play List  (youtube videos).
