When you bring a Beauceron or Malinois into your family you make a commitment to raise, train, and care for your dog throughout his lifetime. This can often mean a responsibility that spans the next 10-15 years. The following questions will help you in deciding if the breed characteristics of the Beauceron or Malinois makes him the right breed for you. The Beauceron or Malinois requires training to channel his energy into useful activities. A puppy socialization or puppy kindergarten class is recommended for your Beauceron or Malinois puppy. Formal obedience training in a group obedience class will help your Beauceron or Malinois become a welcome member of the human community.

and Malinois enjoy playing retrieve games.

be included in all your activities so if you like jogging, hiking, running
biking, obedience training, nature, and the out of doors then the Beauceron or

Is a Puppy the Right Choice For You?
Many individuals do not have the extra time nor the expertise required to raise, socialize, and train a young puppy and would prefer to start with an older puppy or young adult. Adults and older puppy Beaucerons and Malinois may be available occasionally from our breeding due to owner have a change of circumstance and also through our French importing service. Also, through Rescue Programs there are occasional adults and older puppies up for adoption. We at Les Ombres Valeureux operate in the Rescue Networks and foster dogs in need of adoption. Please contact us about possible rescue dogs and older puppies as well.
